WRAPPING UP THE 2008 SEASON AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:
“And Mrs. Nation in her kerchief and I in my cap, had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.” (Clement Clarke Moore, “Twas the Night Before Christmas – with some literary freedom on Mrs. Nation!).

And so goes the Red Sox 2008 season – time for a winter of rest and some napping. The Sox pushed the Tampa team all the way to game seven, but could not ultimately win that critical game. We have been spoiled recently with scoring lots of runs in our previous ALCS game sevens (both in 2004 against New York – thank you Johnny Damon; and in 2007 against Cleveland – thank you Dustin Pedroia). In the 2008 game seven against Tamps, Matt Garza just shut us down. One stinkin’ run. Tough to lose that way!

The Sox were fortunate to push it to game seven, especially with that game five miracle. The injuries to Beckett, Lowell and Ortiz were just too much to overcome. Tampa was indeed a better team, and deserved to go to the World Series. That said, I was pleased the Phillies beat them in the World Series. I have never subscribed to multiple theories such as:

    - Support Tampa because they beat the Sox – so you want them to win it all;     - Support Tampa because they are American League.

I wanted Philadelphia to win because that city does not have a lot of championships and has fielded a team for a long time. Plus the Phillies have the legendary Jimy “Where’s the other ‘M’” Williams from Red Sox lore (nice catch on that – Mikey Smith). We know the feeling of waiting for our championships – at least before 2004. These expansion franchises winning right away does nothing for me.

I digress. Let’s get back to the Sox. So what should the Sox do in the offseason? Here are my words of wisdom on this.

Let Varitek leave as a free agent. It is time. He cannot hit. He cannot throw people out stealing bases. He is still a leader and can call a good game. Not enough for me. He is on my all time “A Team”, but we must move on. Let Big Schill go to another team or retire. Time to move on there. Again, on my all time “A Team”. Do not trade Youkilis under any scenario. Moving Youkilis to make room for Texeira does not make sense. No way, no how. Get Lowell healthy – please

The Sox are supposedly in the Jake Peavy hunt. I’m OK trading Coco Crisp to make that deal. Coco’s value must be at an all time high at this point.

Let’s all enjoy our time off from the Sox season. The Hot Stove talk is starting up, too.

Have a Happy Halloween.

SHOWING SOME HEART AT THE RED SOX NATION NATION

RED SOX NATION:
Say what you want about the 2008 Boston Red Sox, but they certainly showed some real heart last night. And their loyal Sox fans showed heart, too! The Red Sox looked as low as you get to start the bottom of the seventh inning. Down 7 to zip. No pitching, no offense, no nothing. I commiserated a couple of times with my brother-in-law Dave “I have permanent rose-colored glasses” Reed. Uncle Dave told me to give the Sox a little more time before I shut off the TV. Thank God for Uncle Dave!

Pedroia “broke the ice” with driving in the first run. Big Papi absolutely crushed a three run home run. JD Drew came up huge both in the eighth inning and the ninth inning. He took his usual smooth swing for a two-run home run – and followed it up with the game winning hit in the ninth inning. Coco Crisp had the best at bat he ever had with the Red Sox last night to tie up the game (Terry Francona said that during his post-game interview – and I agree). Amen.

Kevin OB out in California is a real magnet for good performances from JD Drew. Every time I am on the phone with Kevin – and JD Drew is up to bat – good things happen. I spoke with Kevin during the miracle home run by Drew off KRod to beat the Angels. And I was on the phone with Kevin during the game winning hit last night.

Dave Reed and my sister Robin have been burning the midnight oil watching these games. So had Big Bill OB. Ditto for Captain Mom (although I did have to wake her up when the Sox tied it last night). Captain Mom is the one who made me the huge Sox fan I am today – so I won’t blame her for catching some sleep!

The Sox could have easily have laid down last night and called it a season. But they showed some real heart, and pushed it back to Tampa. Now the Sox have to listen to big fan Dapper Dan Desmarais. Please pitch inside (HIT) BJ Upton in the first inning of game 6. Please. And pitch inside to Longoria, too. We need to create a little fear in the batters box.

Let’s hope the Sox can pull out some more miracles in Tampa. Beckett in game 6 is a little scary, but crazier things have happened. Keep the faith!

Have a good weekend everyone.

READY TO END THE NICE TAMPA STORY AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:
The Tampa Bay Rays have been a nice story all year long. Last place to first place. Laughing stocks to AL East champs. All those years of high draft picks is finally paying off. And we need to give the Rays credits for a few trades, too. Matt Garza and Wheeler are the product of trades.

So now the defending champion Red Sox meet the Tampa Bay Rays in a best of seven series. Let's have this nice story end now!!!!

The Sox had a fantastic series against the Angels. Jason Bay and JD Drew were huge heroes in the first two games. Lester is simply unbelievable. And Jed "no more Julio" Lowrie delivered the goods in Game 4 with the game-winning hit.

Let's all root on our Sox for the series starting tomorrow night! Dice K will start game 1; let's hope he decides to throw some strikes. Beckett will start game 2, and we need some real improvement from his last start. And Lester and Wakey take the hill for games 3 and 4.

The Sox have a great mix of veterans and young talent. Throw on your rose colored glasses.

Have a good week everyone. GO SOX!!!!

AT LEAST IT IS NOT PINK EYE AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:
Our beloved Sox have finished the grind of the regular season and are the 2008 American League wild card winner. No need for big cheers – but we’ll take it. So now the Sox need to gear up this week to start a five game series against the Angels (LA of Anaheim – or some crazy name like that). Get ready to be tired everyone! These first couple of games are going to be late ones.

Let’s just close our eyes and remember the first round of the playoffs in 2007. Vlad Guerrero was hurt and not himself all series. Garret Anderson had pink eye and barely played. How about that for some bad luck? The Angels looked like the walking wounded all series – which ended in a nice pretty sweep for the Red Sox. None of the Red Sox Nation cried about these Angel injuries back then.

Let’s open our eyes for the 2008 first round series. JD Drew is having epidural shots for his back. Mike Lowell’s hip is ugly. Josh Beckett has a sore oblique muscle – ah!!!!!!! The Red Sox Nation is not starting to make excuses, but these injuries could be a problem. Johnny Lester needs to rise to the occasion big time in Game 1. Ditto for Dice K in Game 2. The bottom line is the Sox need to split in California. Heading back to Boston down 2 to 0 with a sore Josh Beckett going … not exactly what we are looking for.

BUT – since 2004 – WE ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH. We have some real veterans here who know how to win in the post-season. Big Papi is ready to go. Ellsbury is rounding back into form. Youkilis and Pedroia had monster regular seasons and are ready for more.

Let’s root, root, root for the Sox starting late night on Wednesday night! Keep the faith everyone.

AVOIDING SCARY MOVIES AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:
Scenes from certain movies from my younger days stick in my mind. Especially scary ones. Let's just say I am not exactly a tough guy when it comes to suspense or horror films. I can casually hide behind my hands or knees when the dreaded scary music kicks in telling me something bad is about to happen.

Glenn Close rising back again from the bathtub at the end of Fatal Attraction is a scene I will never forget. And this reminds me of the dreaded Yankees -- who never really go away until mathematically eliminated. Those Yanks are the ultimate scary movie, although we also need to be concerned about Tampa, Chicago and the Twinkies, too!

Today begins a big three game series between the Sox and the Yanks at Yankee Stadium. Our beloved Sox are a bit banged up. Josh Beckett is missing at least one start. JD Drew’s back is a problem. Lowell is on the disabled list. We all have our complaints (ask the Yanks about Wang, for example). The Yanks are playing better ball and have two key motivations -- get themselves much closer in the Wild Card race or play the ultimate spoiler to the Sox. The Yanks want a sweep bad -- and we cannot let that happen.

Timmy Wakes returns from the disabled list today to take on Andy (pull down the brim low) Pettite. On paper, this match-up looks ugly for the Sox. Then, Paul Byrd battles Sidney Ponson followed up by John Lester opposing Mike Mussina. The Yankees enjoy better match-ups, period. But we all know match-ups on paper do not always play out the way they are supposed to. Let’s keep the faith, everyone. Root, root, root for the Red Sox.

The Sox need to rise! Now! Bring the bats and help out the pitchers.

Have a good week everyone.

ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION: Manny Ramirez is not on the Red Sox anymore. And the way Manny has ruffled both his teammates and management for the last month or so... trading Manny became addition by subtraction. I'm not foolish enough to say the Sox will not miss his bat. Jason Bay, our new slugger, can handle the move from Pittsburgh to Boston in one of two ways: i) get the Calviin Schiraldi deer in the headlights look and play scared; or ii) rise with the pressure and play better than ever. Going from a small market team like Pittsburgh to Boston can be a big leap. Ask Scott Sauerback. Or Jeff Suppan. They were both ugly.

Scott Sauerback -- after trade from Pittsburgh to Boston in 2003: 17 innings, 18 walks and a 6.48 ERA. Jeff Suppan -- after trade from Pittsburgh to Boston in 2003: 63 innings and 5.57 ERA The Sox had to roll the dice and take Jason Bay. Manny really did not leave them any choice. Manny would never had allowed the Sox to pick up the one year options for $20 million per year. He would have pouted and skipped an occasional important game all the way to free agency. Unfortunately, Manny leaves with a bad taste in Red Sox fans' mouth. I'll always give him credit for some huge hits off very good pitchers, such as that mammoth home run off K Rod of the Angels last year in the playoffs. Wow.

The Sox have been playing terrible ball, and needed to shake it up. I'm staying positive for now! Let's do it.

Other big moves at the trading deadline include the Yanks getting Ivan Rodriguez and the Angels getting Mark Texeira. The Angels are really going for it this year, and judging from watching them the last few days -- they should! The Angels have no apparent holes on that team. The Yanks filled the Posada hole with Rodriguez. The Bronx Bombers' main question is starting pitching. Either Mussina and Pettite continue to get it done -- or the playoffs will either not happen or be a quick appearance.

John Lester looks absolutely fantastic for most of this year. There have been a lot of recent comparisons between John Lester and Andy Pettite. I love those comparisons -- and I hope Lester turns out like Pettite (minus the HGH). Amen. I love the low brim (even though he's a Yankee!)

Let's hope the Sox can turn around the season with this big trade like they did in 2004 after trading Nomar. Keep the faith!

Have a good week everyone.

TOUGH WEEK SO FAR FOR THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

Wow. It has been one tough week for the Red Sox Nation. The offense is pretty ugly at this point, with the exception of Dustin Pedroia. The bullpen is absolutely embarrassing. The Tampa Bay Rays look like rock stars. Tampa manager Joe Maddon is making all the right moves – and is styling in those glasses.

Yet we must remain calm – even if it frustrates us to no end. Last night took me to the depths of despair. That seventh inning when Manny Delcarmen, Craig Hansen and the other arsonists made me lose my dinner. I try to keep July games in some type of perspective. Except last night!

With a night sleep, I have thrown on my proverbial rose colored glasses – and continue to feel positive about the Red Sox season for 2008. Let’s roll through some reasons to feel OK at this point in the season:

1)   The Sox are only 3.5 games out (5 in the loss column) despite not having David Ortiz for about a month.
2)   Clay Bucholtz is coming back to the rotation – and he will really help.
3)   Timmy Wakes is on a roll of rolls.
4)   Josh Beckett can pitch much better than he has so far.
5)   John Lester is rounding into form and giving the Sox more innings.
6)   Dice K just has to get better. He has to throw strikes!
7)   Tampa has to come back to Earth in some way. I agree they have really built a pitching staff on low dollars.
Shields, Garza (what a trade!) and Kazmir are not going away (unless they are hurt). And the bullpen throws hard. But something has to give, right?
8)   Jacoby Ellsbury will hit better
9)   Jason Varitek has to get out of this slump at some point.
10)   Manny, Lowell, Youkilis will hit the ball more.

The bullpen continues to be my main worry at this point. The seventh and eighth innings are particularly scary. Last night was the poster child for all our worries. Too many pitchers are unpredictable in that role. Manny Delcarmen is too inconsistent. Hansen does not throw strikes. Aardsma does not always throw strikes. Other teams may finally have the “book” on Okajima. Oki Doki might have really hit the wall. You really see how valuable he was in 2007 when you see the Sox struggling there in 2008. Oki Doki might have been the MVP for 2007 in retrospect.

The Sox head into Yankee Stadium tonight for a big four game series. Let’s hope for some wins, baby! I know Bernie Breiter, Stuart Kohn, Joe Stafford and Ron Vigliotta are praying for Bronx Bombers. Let’s show ‘em.

The Red Sox Nation welcomes Danny and Louise Mahoney to the Red Sox Nation missive (lucky you!) They are huge fans and hail from extremely close to the Center of the Universe / God’s Country – Dighton, MA. Welcome aboard!

Let’s root, root, root for the Sox.

Have a nice July 4th everyone.

PICKING UP THE SLACK AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

When David Ortiz went down with his wrist injury, the Red Sox Nation prepared for the worst. Who would hit in the third spot in the line-up? Would the run production fall way off? What player or players could help pick up the slack? If you were to ask me who that player or players would be --- I would NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have guessed JD Drew. But JD Drew, combined with some hot Mikey Lowell hitting, has been exactly what the Sox have needed offensively while Big Papi has been resting up the injury.

So just how hot is JD Drew? Let’s just say that he has been absolutely smokin’ hot in June. Drew is now up to 13 – yes that is not a typo – home runs. He is smacking home runs, doubles and RBI’s every game out of the third spot. Hitting right in front of Manny Ramirez never hurt either.

JD Drew has been somewhat of an enigma with the Sox. We seemed to sign him to big money – despite there not being any other real suitors. Conspiracy theories call out that Scott Boras represented both Dice K and JD Drew; the Sox signed Drew to help grease the skids more to make sure Dice K actually signed. I would not be shocked at all if that were true. Merve Gould (one of the biggest Sox fans ever!) agrees with this theory.

Whatever the case, JD is earning his money right now. The Sox are actually gaining some ground with Ortiz on the disabled list. Justin Masterson looks great in the rotation, too. Dice K is coming back from injury. John Lester is starting to get deeper in games … consistently. The bullpen still needs some work, especially with Oki Doki struggling. But Manny Delcarmen and Craig Hansen are starting to heat up. And one of the Lindblom boys (Javier Lopez – the only one I could get his autograph at spring training a couple of years ago) is pitching pretty well.

The Red Sox Nation says congratulations – long overdue – to Mike and Brenda Beckett for the birth of Emma Beckett!!!!!! The Becketts recently brought Emma to her first game at Camden Yards in Baltimore – to see the Red Sox battle the Orioles! Great job.

Let’s all have a good week and continue to celebrate about the Celtics. The Green simply got it done. Amen.

THE DARK CLOUD IS LIFTED AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

I have long been accused (by even myself) as the Dark Cloud. Two Red Sox playoff games – two losses. The Celtics in 1986 with a 40 and 1 record – and I happened to be at the one loss. The stock prices of Millennium, Parametric and Infinity fell like a lead weight upon my arrival. I’m not feeling sorry for myself, but I have worried at times about bringing bad luck.

THOSE DAYS ARE OVER. I was at the John Lester game on Monday night. It was simply unbelievable. Fenway Park was buzzing with excitement starting in about the seventh inning. The ninth inning was incredible! To be at one of eighteen Red Sox no-hitters – for the history of the Red Sox – is deliverance. The curse is lifted!

The Sox are now on a long road trip finishing up with Seattle and then Baltimore. Oakland was not pretty to say the least. The Sox bats seem to sleep so far on the road. Rich Harden, Joe Blanton and Justin Duchscherer simply shut the Sox down for three games.

Let’s hope the Sox come alive in Seattle. The first game was a win last night – and let’s hope it continues. Have a good week everyone.

SOME HIGHS AND LOWS FOR THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

One quarter of the 2008 season is now behind us, and the Boston Red Sox are looking OK. As with any team, we have some positives ...and some negatives. But with the start in Japan, Beckett being on the disabled list, no Big Schill, Lowell on the disabled list – we all have to be somewhat pleased where the Red Sox currently stand. Amen.

Let’s focus on the positives to begin (get your rose colored glasses on now!):
  • Kevin Youkilis – He usually starts the season hot, but he is really showing some power now. I love the home runs. As a side note, Youk is “my boy” (my selection as my favorite player in the Lindblom household).
  • Jacoby Ellsbury – He looks like the real deal. He will get better and better. Having someone who can really lead off and steal bases (never been caught) – gotta love it.
  • Dustin Pedroia – I was very worried about a year 2 downturn, but Dustin is proving to be a very special player. He can hit and field. What a play he made to save a game for Papelbon. Wow!
  • Manny – contract year (at least having the Red Sox exercise their $20M option) – enough said.
  • Josh Beckett – He started out the year hurt, but he is looking better and better each start. He still has the curve ball going (a key for last year). We should feel good about him.
  • Dice K – He still walks too many people and nibbles too much, but he is winning.
  • Papelbon are still very solid at the back end of the bullpen. Okajima is much better with starting an inning (so we do not get into the ugly inherited runners statistics). And, Papelbon is human and blew a couple of saves. I would much rather blow saves in May than October! I do not want any Flash Gordon save streak to be broken in October.
Here are the not-so-positives:
  • Julio Lugo on defense. Renteria all over again.
  • The bullpen as a whole. They have been worked too much, and the extra innings are hurting them. Manny Delcarmen is a real key, and he needs to get going. Timlin looks officially too old.
  • More consistency out of Lester and Bucholtz. I will give Lester his due and say he has been pitching better as of late. He needs to cut down on nibbling (but I am afraid that is him). Bucholtz is now on the disabled list with a broken fingernail, so we can blame that for now. Young pitching is going to be inconsistent – I know. But only pitching three or so innings is killing the bullpen.
The Red Sox Nation knows enough not to get excited about the New York Yankees’ slow start. That is what they do. The Bronx Bombers will make some type of run later this year. Bernie Breiter, Joe Stafford and Ron Vigliotta are just chomping at the bit. Look out. For now, let’s think about Tampa Bay. They are locking up some good young players with contracts (Kazmir, most recently). And their bullpen is really getting it done. Those could be some tough games.

Keep the faith and cheer on your team. Maria Sparks is all excited talking Red Sox baseball around Albany. Let’s keep that kind of spirit.

Have a good week everyone.

BALANCE OF YOUTH AND EXPERIENCE AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

Game one of the 2008 Red Sox season is over with a nice 6 to 5 victory over the Oakland A’s. Manny Ramirez and Brandon Moss (who is this again) delivered the big base hits. Dice K struggled with his control early, and then settled to get through five innings of two run ball.

There were some funny old Sox faces on the Oakland A’s. Just close your eyes and picture Alan Embree finishing off the Yankees in Game 7 in the 2004 American League Championship Series. Or the one and only Keith Foulke underhanding the ball over to Mientky for the last out of the 2004 World Series. Well… both Foulke and Embree now pitch for the Oakland A’s – and they shut the Sox down in the 7th and 8th innings this morning. Foulkie faced Youkilis (fly out), Ortiz (fly out) and Manny (strike out). The change up must be back and working!

Mr. and Mrs. Nation are all excited for the season to begin. It does not get any better to have March Madness still cooking – and then throw the Sox opener into the mix. Amen.

Mrs. Nation thinks I have created two “Mini-me’s” with Peter (The Franchise) and Ryan (The Cornerstone). Such is life.

Let’s savor this first victory and root, root, root for the Sox.

Have a good week everyone.

BALANCE OF YOUTH AND EXPERIENCE AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

Pitchers and catchers are back at Fort Myers and all is good with the world. Thank God baseball season is coming soon. We have all spent the winter on our World Series high note from 2007. So now comes the real question: how do we all feel about 2008?

Bobby "Cappy" Gediman smells another great season for the Red Sox. So does Cristina and Kevin out on the Left Coast. Robin and Dave Reed are hooting and hollering in the Center of the Universe. Keep up the support everyone.

The Sox are trying to maintain that delicate balance of youth and experience. Jason Varitek, Big Schill, Wakey, Mikey Lowell, Mikey Timlin and others lead the veterans. Meanwhile, Dustin Pedroia, Ellsbury, Bucholtz, Papelbon, Lester and Delcarmen lead the youth. Having a $150 million payroll helps with this balance, too.

So how good are these young guys? And how do they match up against the dreaded Yankees? Clay Bucholtz is a potential (always a scary word) #1 starter, and threw a no-hitter last year. Jon Lester is another great prospect (another scary one) -- and pitched the clinching game 4 of the World Series last year. Manny Delcarmen has fantastic stuff; he just needs to throw strikes. And let the record show: I think Craig Hansen will make a big contribution to the big club by mid summer. Holding onto Craig Hansen will really help.

The comparison may be a stretch, but Bucholtz and Lester may be the modern day Roger Clemens and Bruce Hurst. Let's hope so! Meanwhile, the Bronx Bombers are hoping that Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes are the real deal. The Sox rotation looks like Josh Beckett, Dice K, Wakey, Bucholtz and Lester. The Yanks trot out Wang, Pettite, Mussina (until Joba is in the rotation), Hughes and Ian Kennedy. The edge goes to the Sox -- before any injuries!

There are no huge controversies in the Sox camp yet. The Big Schill situation is not a huge deal for me. His $8M contract this year was a thank you for helping to win two championships in four years -- that's what it is. Amen.

Not trading for Santana is a real blessing for both the Sox and the Yankees. We can all see the youth start to really help again this year. Where would the Sox have been last year without Pedroia and Ellsbury? Exactly. Seeing Ellsbury for the full year will be nice. Same goes with Lester and Bucholtz. Give Theo some credit for hanging on to the right young guys.

Let's re-sign Terry to a long-term deal, too. The man deserves a good deal of credit for what he does. Lock him up.

Enjoy the rest of your winter and get all your reading done. I'm trying to crank out as much reading as I can before my evening are monopolized by DO and Jerry Remy. Amen.

Have a good week everyone.

TWICE AS NICE AT THE RED SOX NATION

RED SOX NATION:

Our beloved Red Sox won the World Series on Sunday night, and it was as sweet as ever. Don’t let anyone say this was not as special as 2004. Any World Series championship is beautiful – period. I took my sons Peter and Ryan to the parade on Tuesday, which was fantastic. By the way, of the five recent championships (three New England Super Bowls and two World Series), the Lindbloms have attended four of the five. Oh well!

Here is some other huge news. Our old house (461 Hudson Road in Sudbury) had a special championship track record – three Super Bowls (Patriots), One NCAA basketball championship (Syracuse Orangemen) and one World Series championship (2004 Sox). I was starting to get a little concerned that our move to 68 Silver Hill Road had rocked that fragile ecosystem we call the Boston sports scene! Now, all such worries have passed. No one can blame me after the Red Sox win in 2007.

I have heard some people say that the 2007 championship is not as special as the 2004 championship. Hogwash. I was extremely happy to win this year. Plus, my kids are now older, and were much more part of my enjoyment. Amen!

Let’s give special kudos to those who did attend the big games and did not serve as “dark clouds”, namely Uncle Jack Egan, Kristen Cuthbertsen, Kevin Gillis, and Uncle Dave Reed (I don’t think I missed anyone).

The pitching – as it always does – carried the Sox to the 2007 championship. Josh Beckett, Big Schill, Dice K and Johnny Lester (he looks great for next year!) got it done for the starters. Papelbon was his usual stud self. Okajima got tired and gave up a couple of home runs, but was solid as ever. Mike Timlin got a few big outs. Manny Delcarmen got a couple big outs, too.

The bats stayed alive throughout the series. Having Ellsbury play was absolutely necessary. He looks fantastic. Mike Lowell (Series MVP) came up big, too. The line-up definitely hit when it needed to. Dustin Pedroia, Manny, Ortiz, Youkilis, Lugo, Drew, Varitek – everyone contributed. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RED SOX AND ALL RED SOX FANS!!!

Special sorry to Tim Callahan, usual Red Sox Nation member – who had to change allegiances to the Rockies since he grew up there. The eight day layoff was a killer!

We have a lot to look forward to for this Red Sox team. Josh Beckett, Dice K, John Lester and Clay Bucholtz are all young. Papelbon, Manny Delcarmen and maybe even Craig Hansen could solidify the bullpen.

Keep the faith everyone. Enjoy the fall and winter. We’ll see what happens in the offseason (Sign Lowell or not? Sign Big Schill or not?)

Have a good weekend.
